Ever since installing ISA 2004 I cannot access http://oem.microsoft.com or https://oem.microsoft.com but I can access other secure web sites with no issues.

Any ideas? I know the site is not down because I can access it from my house.

Hi M,

No problems from behind any of my ISA firewalls.

I have web proxy enabled and its configured to use 8080 to access ISA via the HTTP and HTTPS ports. Could this potentially be a problem? Do I need to use 443 for my web proxy settings?

Hi M,

You have the correct Web Proxy config.

Is the browser configured to use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections?

Also, to complete your security scheme, make sure you get that Firewall client on your Windows machines.

HTH,
Tom

The firewall client is on all machines. HTTP 1.1 Through Proxy Connections was disabled. Everything seems to work fine now.

Also Tshinder, I sent you an email about the ISA 2004 import/export tool you had to backup from ISA 2000... could you please email me a copy of that to mike@grandprixworld.com

Thanks.

Hi Mike,

Great! Good to hear you got it working.

Send me a note at tshinder@isaserver.org today and I'll get it to you.
