I am considering putting a wireless card into our ISA server to give better controlled and monitored wireless access. Has anyone done this any best way to go about it.

My thoughts were to allow internet access only (given a correct username and password) and allow internal access using L2TP VPN over the wireless.

Al,

Keep in mind you can simply connect your WAP via ethernet to a dedicated DMZ interface on ISA. This is the approach I see most often. Then, for added security, you can require the wireless clients to VPN for an added layer of security.

Hope this helps.
