I'm using CuteFTP Pro V.7 and have an high upload line.

But during large file Uploads to an FTP site i keep getting the 600000 Timeouts.

If i keep trying the file will upload eventually (But not in all cases)

What can cause this? according to the ftp site provider, they can connect and upload perfectly.

How is ISA causing the Timeouts ?

Hi Tsemah,

are you sure the ISA server is the cause? Try to determine with NetMon traces which party closes the connection.

Can't see anything irregular

has anyone else comfronted this issue ?

Hi Tsemah,

do you mean that ISA server is the initiator of the connection close to the external FTP server *and* the internal FTP client? So, no FTP command QUIT?

Hi,

I too am having this same problem. ISA Server shows connection closed long before the application shows an error.

The majority of the time I can upload files in the 4-5MB range, but anything larger has a very high failure rate.

PASV or PORT mode does not seem to make a difference...

I have the FW client installed on this machine and I have even tried disabling FTP caching with no results.

Same problem here, except I get a dropped connection for both FTP and SOCKS. I know it's not a hardware issue since I have 2 ISA servers and it happens on both.
