i have setup a computer "windows 200 server with service pack 4 and ie 6" it has 2 nic's

nic 1 is 192.168.***.***
subnet is 255.255.255.0
no gateway
no dns

nic 2 is 10.10.10.5
subnet is 255.255.255.0
gateway is 10.10.10.1

dns are 194.74.65.68 and 194.74.65.69

when i start the machine with just nic 1 plugged in i can see the internal network and everything is fine, if i plug nic 2 in i loose the internal network? i can access the internet but i cannot ping, anything or map any drives to the internal network?

i i use isa to connect the internal network to the extrnal it works but i still get the same problem and i cannot setup groups on the isa because it cannot see the internal network.  if i log off and i ask somebody else to log on the machine they cannot because it's not seeing the domain????

help!!!

Your DNS is all wrong.  You need inside DNS and set it on both your internal NIC and external NIC.  Configure your inside DNS to forward to external DNS.

okay i will try that, so on both nic cards i use my internal dns first ? and then setup a forwarder to the external dns "is that right"

thanks for the help so far..
