I might be missing something here, let me know if i am.
I have ISA 2004 on a Window 2003 based server. We are running RAS off the same server as ISA. When something is changed on the ISA box, be it access rules or network settings, all the setting and configuration in RAS is reset, hence a VPN connection setting are lost and VPN is not accessible.
Is this a problem any one knows how to get around?

As i know and read some articles, this is not a good solution, because ISA 2004 VPN Settings are on top of the RRAS Configurations. There is another Post about to implement RAS on the same machine as ISA, and TomS is also not a friend of this kind of implementation.
by the way, i had a similarly effect on ISA 2004 with Client VPN. We implemented a Client VPN with IPSec/L2TP and Certificates, then i added a Site to Site VPN with IPSec and PreShared Key and this overrides the Client IPSec w. Cert's ... I had to disable and re-enable the Client VPN on the ISA Management, then both IPSec setting where running fine.
