Anyone got any experience of publishing SAP apps via ISA 2004? All is working fine with the SSL publishing rue etc but users are complaining it's too slow so SAP have advised to switch on compression on the SAP web servers. Would ISA handle this ok? The content would remain compressed all the way to the client?

I believe ISA will support compressions once the Branch Office Updates are released. See http://www.microsoft.com/isaserver/solutions/isabranch_updates.mspx for more details under the "Compression Update" section.

Does the ISA Server have the setting for EnablePMTUDiscovery set to 1? ISA, when it installs, sets this to 0, which disables PMTU discovery, which also sets all packets to a 576 MTU which could account for the slow connection speed. The registry key is under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters.
