I managed to set up the isa server 2004 however i'm facing a problem i have an smtp server and pop server provided by the ISP SMTP Server :63.1.1.1 POP serv:64.1.1.1
the ip of the isa lan Interface is 10.0.0.10 how do i unable port forwarding so i point my internal client in outlook mail client to point to 10.0.0.10 (ISA SERVER).
One more thing how do i unable ftp access aswell to the client ,i've tried one rule but the clinet can cannot to the ftp site but cannot upload files, but they can download file from the ftp sites, please let me know what is the problem.
Hi Nev, Is your issue that you are trying to get to a website on a different port other then the standard 80 or 443? Becaue if it is that is exactly the problem I am having. ISA server does not like it when I try to go to a web site on a non standard port. IE: https://website.com:2362 . ISA server doesn't know what to do with it... SO if you found a resolution I would be very interested in the solution
You won't be able to do that -- if you allow outbound SSL, then you allow outbound SSL. The ISA firewall sees SSL connections as SSL connections, not ports.
Hi, I want forward the port from isa to the client, but i don't want isa listen this port because i need manualy listen port and this listener that is on the client recive some data. If isa listener is listen so my listener not work and don't recive data from the port. has the other way for port forwarding without isa listener?
