HI all,
i have a problem in my ISA2000 server..more events generated in the event viewer box ERROR is "The ISA Server services cannot create a packet filter 64.233.183.103. This event occurs when there is a conflict between the Local Address Table (LAT) configuration and the Windows 2000 routing table. Check the routing table and the LAT to find the source of the conflict." so i have to clear events after 1hour..kindly solve problem

I've the same problem with my isa2000.

Internal:
ip 10.0.2.205
sn 255.255.255.0

External:
ip 10.0.1.2
sn 255.255.255.252
ga 10.0.1.1

LAT is:
- from 10.0.2.0 to 10.0.2.255
- from 10.255.255.255 to 10.255.255.255

Hi pnx,

what happens if you remove the entry '10.255.255.255 to 10.255.255.255' from the LAT?

Stefaan

Hi Stefann, thanks for help.
I don't know why, but the errors disappeared themself.

I had another problem, now solved, look here:

Could you give me an explanation?

Giuseppe.

I think internal and external IPs MUST be in different subnets... ;)

I'm going off of memory here, but I believe you see those errors if you have the Firewall portion of ISA installed but you only
have one NIC. (and only one network)

If you're just using ISA as a Web Proxy, you don't need the Firewall portion installed.

EDIT: I just saw PNX reply, and that is correct.
