hello,
i am currently facing troubles with my rule to publish my intranet to a https-http-connection over my isa2004sp1. the connection is running fine within a SSL-tunnel, but thats not the way i wat it to ...

when i run the wizard i end up with a functional rule. enabling this rule ends with an error (Server not found / DNS). i  made a certificate on my internal CA. i exported it and moves it to the isa using the certificates-mmc- i can bind it within the weblistener. i did set a functional dns-record to intranet.xxxxxx.net (it is also used by the ssl-tunnel). i forced the redirection from all traffic an 443 to 80 on the internal webserver (weithin the publishing rule) but i do not get there. using IE on the ISA i can access the internal site (y using the IP adress), so the physical connection isnt the problem.

am i something missing?
how can i check, if the rule is working at all? the logfiles just say, "connection opened" and "closed"

can someonegive me a hint???

Please give us more information about errors: in browser when you try to open from Internet and others.

Can you publish other web server or service from intranet to Internet and it's working?

it doesnt matter, if i try to connect using firefor, ie or opera - i get stuck with the IE.error "server not found / DNS error". dns is definitly working correctly as any public dns-server resolves requests correct.

on the same isa there are other webs published the same way - but there is no https-http ot http-https bridging, ports are just backwarded as they are .. 80 to 80, 443 to 443. and it does work ...

as logs dont give me clear information, what is happening, i am searching a way to determin, what and where my connection stucks on the ISA ...

im gonna install sp2 tomorrow morning, maybe its fixing the problem ...
