I am sorry if this has appeared within these fourms but I can see it.

I am running ISA 2004 on server 2003. I am using smartfilter as a web filter \ reporting tool. Everything is working fine except......

The reporting tool that comes with it is supposed to be accessable to anyone who types the address into explorer, my problem is this doesn't happen.... All I get is page can not be displayed.

any ideas?

You have to create a rule allowing traffic to localhost.

We were an N2H2 customer on our ISA2000 box and Secure Computing bought N2H2 and merged that client base over to SmartFilter.

I had tech support on the phone and they couldn't figure it out, I took a step back and realized that in order to view the reports you would have to allow traffic on the particular port to the localhost network object.

I could give you the specifics on the rule, but we threw away Smartfilter and moving to Surfcontrol.

I don't recall what port the reporting tool uses? was it port 80? for some reason I want to say it was a non-standard port.

Can you post the details of your access rule?

my access rule is at enterprise level, allow all http from internal to local host (with and without tying it down to port 9011).

I have also put it on another server seperate from isa and smartfilter but nothing seems to work.

thanks
