I have ISA 2004 standard as a front end to my Hosted Exchange environment. For some reason one of the rules became ccorrupt and the firewall service would not start. I have mange to disable the rule with a script and the firewall service starts up fine. If a try to import the backup firewall policy i get a "Catastrophic failure" messages. Is there any way around this, i have been looking for some way to delete the rule with a script but there does not seem to be any supported function or method.

Sorted it now

Found the bugger in regedit and removed the broken rules.

Panic over.
