Greetings,

I have several Web servers (IIS6) that are published through ISA2004. One comment I have had several times is from an external developer who is updating the content on the web sites remotely, and the changes he makes don't seem to be visible for quite some time. The developer is viewing/checking the updates from an external internet location in the same way as the rest of the world does when connecting to the published servers.

Does ISAServer cache the outbound web content from published servers? It may even be an IIS issue, but I'm not aware of anything there it could be.

Scott.

It sure does - use CACHEDIR.EXE from MSFTs website to manipulate this cached info.

You can create a Web Chaining rule that stipulates traffic from the internal server is never cached as well.

I had noticed that one of the settings for the cache was set to "All Networks" by default (I don't have the console in front of me right now so I'm paraphrasing)

So should I just be able to change that to "External Network" to only cache inbound content *from* the internet?

Sure - that works just as well.
