Hello!

I have an ISA 2004 machine with 3 nics and i was wondering if there's a way to change the external's interface lan card interface?
When i go to configuration -> networks  the external interface seems to be built in so i cannot change it..is there any other way to select another
lan card except of reinstalling the isa server?

Thank you

I don't get how you are trying to change what.
When I first setup my ISA, it had two gig NICs and I later added two more 100 meg NICs.  There was nothing that had to be done in ISA.  I simply assigned the "External" IP settings to the 100 meg NIC.

Sorry maybe i didn't explain it correctly...:)

I mean now i have a working isa machine with 3 nics(1 wan,1 dmz,1 lan).It is working  perfectly...
The pc is an old compaq pc with 1 onboard lan card(wan if) and 2 3com lan cards(dmz and lan).
What im trying to do is to "switch" the external if(onboard lan) from isa to one of 3com cards(lan if).
So finally i would have 3com card as external(wan) and onboard card as internal lan.
The reason that i want to do this is that the onboard card is the only card that has WakeOnLan capability so i would like to put this
as the internal interface and the 3com as external interface to be able to open the machine via WOL...

I hope now u understand what i mean...

Thank you

Like I already said, there is nothing that you need to do in ISA.  Just swap the IP settings in the OS.
