Chain ISA servers - 21.May2006 10:15:53 AM

There are 2 Microsoft Windows 2000 domains (domain A, domain B) connecting by routers. They are not in same forest but trust has been established between them. Shared resources are accessible by users in both domains.
Each domain has an ISA server 2004 sharing and securing Internet for users (each domain has its own connection).
Everything works well and users can surf the net and send/receive mails through Outlook.
Firewall client software is installed on all machines.
Default gateways on computers have been set to the internal router interface (not the ISA server interface).
Authentication is "Basic" and "All users have to be authenticated".
All subnets - domain A: 192.168.1.x - domain B: 192.168.0.x - routers: 192.168.2.x, are configured as "Internal Network" in both ISA servers.

For some reasons we want computers in Domain B, use ISA server in Domain A. So I changed the configuration - Networks - Internal properties - Firewall Client, on ISA server in domain B to use ISA server in domain A (in both boxes, Firewall and Web proxy). Sounds easy and Internet browsing works well, but, Outlooks in domain B can not send/receive mails anymore. Mail server is located outside of our networks (external).

I appreciate your help.
