Hi All, On my ISA I ideally wanted to specify exchange access to only access groups. When you publish the server it is available to all VPN users. I tried to clone the Publishing rule to a standard firewall rule set to allow access to certain groups but this did not work. Can anyone explain why?? Many Thanks Andy

Hi Andy, Web listeners have a lot of security features you don't have available with Access Rules, so that's why it's preferred to use Web Publishing Rules instead of Access Rules for Web Publishing. HTH, Tom

Hi Tom, Thanks for your reply. I am talking about exchange server publishing (full client connectivity, not OWA) does your comment apply to this also? Is there a way of setting up an access rule to exchange rather than using a publishing rule if required?? Many Thanks Andy

Hi Andy, I'm not sure what you're referring to here? Secure Exchange RPC Publishing or RPC/HTTP? Thanks! Tom

Hi Tom, I guess it would be RPC as I am not talking about OWA. I want a client at home to be able to access exchange using their Outlook client. Thanks Andy
