Hi,

I have a SBS 2003 server that has both ISA 2004 and Backup Exec running on the same box and they are both using MSDE. This is causing issues and making the routing and remote access server and firewall services to stop and then all users cannot access the server. I am looking to install SQL and change the logging for ISA to log to the sql database. Can anyone see any problems with this or have had this issue before ?

Any views appreciated.

Thanks,

Multiple MSDE's aren't the problem. In fact every SBS server has multiple MSDE databases running on it. Look for the solution to the problem elsewhere.
