In my network i have a ISA2000.
I need allow some machines to access an external mail server.
When the users of this machines log on domain, this access is ok.
But some users donīt have account in domain and they cannot connect with mail server.
I try open a connection with server using telnet, but i receive an error message. I try connect using name an IP of server.
I create a protocol rule that allow all ip trafic for all requests, but the error persist.
Any ideias for this problem?
Thanks for any help...

Hi antoniojunior,

you need to have an anonymous protocol *and* site&content rule. The protocol rule allowing the needed protocols and the site&content rule allowing the needed destination.

BTW --- you should first check out the ISA logging if something isn't working. Especially the fields Rule#1, Rule#2 and Result Code can give you important information. For more info, check out the ISA help file and http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;284818.
