I'm trying to access the WebCams at CoffeeCup Software but am not getting far.

I can't figure out why ISA 2004 is Failing the request.  Here's what gets logged:

10.33.49.198, ahardesty, SONYSN~1, Y, 7/11/2006, 14:14:03, w3proxy, ISA2, -, 12.175.208.196, 12.175.208.196, 80, 3234, 105, 346, http, TCP, GET, http://12.175.208.196/img/mjpeg.cgi?Speed=30, text/html, Inet, 400, 0x40800000, HTTP Access, -, Internal, External, 0x480, Allowed, 7/11/2006 18:14:03

10.33.49.198, ahardesty, CameraActiveX HTTP Poster 1.0, Y, 7/11/2006, 14:14:06, w3proxy, ISA2, -, 12.175.208.196, 12.175.208.196, 80, 406, 130, 4411, http, TCP, GET, http://12.175.208.196/util/util.cgi, -, Inet, 64, 0x0, Special Segment, -, Internal, External, 0x80, Failed, 7/11/2006 18:14:06

The "Special Segment" rule is as follows:
Type: Access Rule
Allow - All Outbound Traffic
From: Internal
To: IP Range: 12.175.208.0-12.175.208.255
All Users
Always
All Content Types

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi A,

Works fine for me. Make sure you haven't disabled the Firewall client.

HTH,
Tom

Hmm, not using Firewall client.  How can I get this to work via Web Proxy?

Hi A,

Why aren't you using the Firewall client? It's an ISA firewall best practice.

What happens when you create a rule that allows all protocols from internal to external?

Is the machine configured as a Web proxy client?

Thanks!
Tom

All end user browsers are configured to use the ISA server as their proxy server.
