Rulebase Analysis - 8.Aug.2006 10:39:04 AM

Hi there, I've posted about this in other topics on this forum, but I seriously doubt I'll get any replies.

I think one area that's really lacking is the ability to analyse the rulebase for a given user/computer/subnet/etc...

We have a large ISA installation, (8 Networks on each of our two ISA servers) with a similarly large set of rules.

It would be really nice to input an object (be that a user, computer whatever) and see the different rules that apply to the object, much like Group Policy Modelling in the GPMC.

Any help/advice/pointers would be really appreciated.

That would be a very useful analysis tool. And not just for ISA2006. Could something like that be achieved through scripts ? I would like to have that, too.

Hey guys,

That would be a very nice feature for future versions of the ISA firewall!
