Hi All,

I have ISA 2004 Standard installed and my users can acess the internet by using the default ISA server port of 8080, is it possible to change this default to port 80?
We only have two rules. 1.Allow access to the internet only if you have been granted access via Domain Group. 2. Deny all. Our main Checkpoint firewall will only allow access out if the request comes from ISA.
Is there any reason why I should not use port 80?
We only use a single ISA server to act as a proxy to monitor usage of the Internet. We do not use any other functionality of ISA.

Thanks

B

Hi Bruce,

Whoa! Is this about a unihomed (hork mode) ISA firewall?

Thanks!
Tom

Hi Tom,

This is about a unihomed ISA 2004 Server being using only as a proxy. This box sits on our network inside our firewall and is used o monitor web usage only.

I found out where to change the defalt port from 8080 to 80.

Thank for the reply

Cheers

Bruce

But I thought the ISA firewall was a firewall?

That's what over 500+ articles on this site say.

I'll moved this post to the hork mode section.

Tom
