Q's on ISA RC1 to RTM upgrade - 21.Oct.2006 9:45:19 AM

Hello all, I have been browsing this site for a few months now and I really appreciate all of the knowledge here.  I have recently inherited a couple ISA 2006 servers that were installed in a production environment with RC1 on them, I need to get them upgraded to the RTM very soon before our trial expires.   I am very new to ISA as well so it has been a challenge learning about it.  Can someone tell me if the upgrade plan is going to work, or if there are any gotcha's, or if there is a better way to do it.

We have 2 ISA servers; 1 config server that is also an array member, and 1 array member.  These servers are used for OWA publishing and Web app's publishing.

Steps for upgrade:

1:  Export config to XML file
2:  Uninstall ISA RC1 from ISA1 (config server)
3:  Install ISA RTM on ISA1 and import XML config file
4:  Inplace upgrade of ISA2 (array member)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone.

Hi ISAfun,

Check out:

Make sure to test in a VM environment first.
