Hi Guys

First time on this site and very very new on MS Isa Server. Just taken over a client who is using ISA server.
I am trying to run a backup via the internet and I setup the necessary proxy setting within the backup program, but it gives me an error.
Proxy Connection failed: http/1.1 502 Proxy error. ( The Specified Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is not allowed. ISA is not configured to allow SSL requests from this port. Most Web browsers use port 443 for SSL requests.

In the backup it is setup to use port 443 and 8443, now how does one allow these ports on ISA.

Thanks for your responses and help.

Hi OasisInfoTech,
you need to extend ISA's ssl tunnel port range:

go to:
http://www.isatools.org/tools.asp?Context=ISA2004
scroll down and find:
ISA Tunnel Port tool
http://www.isatools.org/tools/isa_tpr.js
the link for ISATpre.zip does not work.
read the whole article and you will see what to do.
