Hello All,

Can someone give me some insight about the following scenario :

Total users : 900 max
VPN connections : 0 for (now)
Internet pipe is : 4mbps up / down (for now)
Firewall clients : about 100
Proxy clients : about 800
Number of NICs : 2
Caching : enabled
Loging : local logging

What server requirements do i need ? regarding to CPU, MEM and disk setup
I was thing about :

CPU : 2400 Mhz XEON
MEM : 3 GB
Disks : 5
OS : Raid 1 - 2disks
Logging + cache : Raid 5 - 3 disks

check this : http://www.microsoft.com/isaserver/prodinfo/system-requirements.mspx

u can also check Capacity Planner ( look like a calculator ) on the top right side of this site : http://www.microsoft.com/isaserver/default.mspx

as for ur resources
quote:

CPU : 2400 Mhz XEON
MEM : 3 GB
Disks : 5
OS : Raid 1 - 2disks
Logging + cache : Raid 5 - 3 disks

they are ok, but for the RAID 5 u can save a disk for other servers and make a 2nd RIAD 1 for the logging + cache.

but if saving a disk is not that important issue ( budget is ok [:)]) you can go ahead

I would forget about the raid 5 for caching and just configure a mirrored 15000k server and beef up on a dual cpu system.
