Network Load Balancing Error - 19.Dec.2006 6:51:28 PM

Hi All

I have an issue with ISA 2006 whereby we have two ISA servers configured in an array (192.168.201.49 and 192.168.201.50). As well as a management server (192.168.201.1)

I have attempted setup of NLB on the array using 192.168.201.5 as the virtual IP.

Now the strange thing is once this was applied I see NLB has been configured in the LAN properties on both of the ISA server's, and from .1 I can ping the .5 address and any address on the internet (eg 4.2.2.2)

Problem is that other traffic such as telnet, http etc does not seem to be passed. (I have enterprise and access rules that allow all outbound traffic for the moment for testing)

Going into monitoring under "services" I see the status of the NLB service set to "Stopped due to a local problem" , attempting a restart provides the same error.
Under "Alerts" I notice the following error : "NLB Stopped - Configuration Failure : The firewall service failed to apply Network Load Balancing configuration. Network Load Balancing on the local computer will be disabled. The failure is due to error: Catastrophic failure"

Which doesn't seem to help me at all to start to figure out the problem. I hope someone can help me as I am getting married next year and if I don't have any hair left by then she may back out
