Hello Stephan,
No problem and thank you very much for providing the code.

I added this to the .js file and ran it. As expected it added the new agent to the registry  and is now entry 11.

Unfortunately I have the same issue/error.  Basically the applet does not get initiated when using IE & Jre. [works fine with Mozilla or Netscape & jre]

I get this weird Incompatibly magic number value error and then loading the applet failed.
[java.lang.ClassFormatError: Incompatible magic value 1008813135 in class file arcClientJava]

I've tried to get our developers to look at the java 2 client we built to see if it's a compilation issue.

Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Regards,
Robert

You have to make sure the entry is above the mozilla entry because the JRE also starts with mozilla (example: Mozilla/4.0 (Windows XP 5.1) Java/1.6.0)
Use the moveup function to position it above mozilla* and dont forget to update/save it

That should work.

Adding the Java user agent worked perfectly (After I got the case correct.).
So now Oracle Web Forms are working perfectly.

However I've been unable to get rid of the second authentication dialogue box.

I've tried setting the rule to use authentication delegation set to basic authentication.
(and others.).
However I have had no luck.

Any other ideas?
