I'm trying to authenticate my web proxy clients with radius. It keeps telling me that the auth failed. Any ideas why?

I've setup pap, no encryption, and told it to use windows groups for the authentication. I made the radius client itself. The radius server is on the same box as the web proxy. All the settings in isa are telling it the radius is on this server.

I am not sure if it is a good idea to run both of them on the same box. You might want to split them apart. Put IAS on your DC. Then set the RADIUS Settings under the config Settings in ISA. Then you will need some access rules to pass the RADIUS Traffic.

Currently because you have it installed on ISA The IAS server would try to use the Localhost on ISA. This could mean Enabling some rules in the System Policy.

Personally i have never tried to install IAS directly on ISA. I have only done it by installing IAS on my DC.
