Strange problem here

im in princeton at the moment, trying to setup a vpn site from our new 2006 server to our normal 2004 server in denmark..

i can get the isa server to ping everything acros the vpn, but not the internal network..

is there a problem connecting 2006 to 2004?? i have not experienced this before.

I have all the rules in place on both sites.. i have tried but have no clue what the answer is for this..

none off the computers on the internal network here in princeton can ping over the vpn.

the vpn is a normal ipsec site-to-site tunnel. all the parameters are the same in each end.

anyone know what could cause this? should i install isa 2004 here in princeton instead??

Thanks

Tim

NEVER use IPSec tunnel mode when connecting two ISA Firewalls. Always use L2TP/IPSec. That will likely solve the problem.

HTH,
Tom
