Pretty weird behavior.

Using ISA 2004 SP1 or SP2, I know that all web connections from vpn clients are redirected to webproxy filter.

But even when I manually configure proxy within IE properties, no url information is being recorded. Logs shows only IP addresses for sites visited.

What is even stranger is, no matter what proxy I configure within IE, even when typing a non-existing proxy address, vpn clients can still access the internet.

Just for clarification, ISA is recording URL information from Internal Client's.

I have the same problem.

ISA 2004 w/SP2 on Windows Server 2003 STD w/SP1 and logging to a SQL Database.

In the logfiles for Internal Clients the URL is recorded.

For VPN Clients the URL is not recorded and looks like http://IPADDRESS/*

I thank you for HostLogger and the dll file. I installed this weekend and now see correct URL (URI) information in the log files for VPN Clients.

I do show that the DestHost is still a public IP Address for VPN Clients. For Internal clients the DestHost is usually www.website.com whereas the URL is http://www.website.com/page/page1.html.
