mindcre8r -> RPC (All interfaces|) denied Connection (16.Mar.2007 9:47:36 AM)

Hello All.

On a Windows 2003 Server domain member i installed a 2006 ISA server.

I played with some rules for webbrowsing restrictions..that all works fine.

The problem i have that with even the allow all rule enabled i can't connect to my Exchange server.

It keeps telling me:
Destination ip: 192.168.1.1 Destination port:135 Protocol:RPC (all interfaces) Action: Denied connection Rule:Full

It doesn't make sence since i allowe all traffic..

please help me out!

What type of configuration do you have? Single or dual NIC?

Also under System Policy rules there's a rule for Allow RPC from ISA to trusted servers do you have this enabled?

i never thought a reaction would be posted :) solved it long time ago.
Thanks anyway for the reply!

The problem was caused by the Exchange server publising rule in a funny way.
When i manually configured the protocols all works fine now.

Sometimes I think the senior members leave questions open so the newer members like myself can try to help others. Especially if the issues are similiar to what we posted about in the first place :)

Glad to hear you're up and running
