Ok, may be a simple question but...

My facility operates a LAN located within a WAN.  The WAN security perimeter provides firewall services, however our administration wants proxy services (and possibly caching) to run locally within our LAN so that we don't need to pay fees to a separate department.
I would like to set up ISA 06 for proxy but am not sure which template to use.  With Edge Firewall it appears that all traffic would be brought through the ISA Server which seems unnessesary in this case.  On the surface it looks like the Single Netwark Adapter template would be the one to use but I've read a couple of posts stating that this template doesn't work well with servers that have multiple NIC's

Any advice on which template to use would be appreciated.

The ISA Firewall is a Firewall. With that knowledge you can configure it appropriately.
