elmajdal -> Articles & Tutorials categories topic (2.May2007 5:29:56 AM)

Hi ,

I like the way www.msexchange.org categorize the Articles & Tutorials categories topic section under http://msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/

They Categorize the articles based on EACH Exchange Server version ! 5.5/2000/2003/2007

I would like to have this also in http://www.isaserver.org/articles_tutorials/

Articles & Tutorials are sorted and categorized into ISA 2000/ 2004/ 2006

In this way, it would be much easier to look for articles only related to the version i want to read about.

Thanks,
Tarek

Hi Tom,

i will continue what we started here : http://forums.isaserver.org/m_2002045490/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#2002045490

For Sure, in msexchange.org site, there are some common articles that applies to Exchange 2000 & 2003 & 2007 !!

maybe with ISA Server, you can have a Common Category titled : ISA 2004 & ISA 2006 and so on, where under this category , all the common articles between ISA 2004 & ISA 2006 are located here.

Another suggestion is to put a link of the same article under each Category.
for example if Article X applies to ISA 2004 & ISA 2006, then this article would be available under ISA 2004 Articles AND also under ISA 2006 Articles( would be available in both categories ), which IMHO, i believe this would be the best approach.

If you want to add Extra effort, you would add a single line on top of COMMON articles, stating that this Article Also applies to ISA 2004 , check this :

If i am a user, and want to add to my favourites all the Articles that are related to ISA 2004, then i would go into ISA 2004 category and start having all these articles in my Favorite or start printing them [:D]

Thanks,
Tarek

Yay! Great idea. Let's see if the Webmasters can get this in.
