I especially like the diagnostic veiwer. Extremely helpful for troubleshooting!

Hi,
Is anyone else having problems with sp3 installation failing then Firewall service not starting afterwards? Doing a repair install solves this and allows Firewall service to start but I would like to put the sp3 update on at some point. Does anyone know a reason why the install fails?

SP3 installed on 2 CSS and 2 ISA Servers

Few hours later , I removed SP3 from both ISA machines due to service-related errors but failed to removed the same from the CSS :(

Microsoft should be working harder before they attempt to release new updates

By the way , the above SP3 fix link is not working

Hi Dr. Tom,

Here is the error message I get upon starting the removal process:

The relations between the properties is incorrect.When installing MSFirewall_Services you must specify STORAGESERVER_COMPUTERNAME..

The installation was originally carried out without any problem

I know that there are some things you need to do on the CSS before the upgrade. Have you check the ISA Server Team blog for this information?

No I did not.All I want to do is to uninstall this service pack from the two CSS servers which also happen to be the domain controllers in our domain
