I'll be honest, I am VERY new to ISA. I have it running, routing through, some policys set that are working properly.. but now I am getting lost...
Right now I am working with it on a test network I setup. I have a Server 2003 box setup, (member server of our 'real' domain) and some clients to play around with etc. Eventually this setup will be taken to some of the school districts we service.. but for now I am trying to get a feel for things. I am running ISA 2006 standard.
Here is the thing, if possible, we would prefer to have the same subnet on both sides of the ISA Server... so basically the ISA Server would be acting more like a bridge in a sense and not route through. Is it possible to set it up this way and still have it serve its firewall functions and monitoring etc. Probably a dumb question, but right now I have seperate networks on each NIC and I'm hoping we can configure it to use the same so we can avoid changing reservations and DHCP etc. on the networks already in place at these different districts we will be implementing ISA into.
