Hi there
I got ISA Server 2004 (SP3) with two NICs. At the beginning, I could not connected VPN users to internal network. Then, I changed DSL modem mode from Routing to Bridge. VPN user's connections ok. I didn't set an IP to external nic. External nic requires an IP from DHCP server.
sould I set an IP number to external? If yes, how I can set them?
Thanks.
Feza.

For PPPoE connections, I've had the most luck with putting a NAT device in front of the ISA Firewall and have the NAT device do the PPPoE connection.

HTH,
Tom

So with this setup you do not have to put an IP addrress on the external nic, if you have your nat doing the pppoe?

The NAT device does the PPPoE connection.

OK...but what happens when you are using static IP addresses assigned from your ISP and you want ISA server to handle all of the port mapping, etc.?
