I am totally stumped.  Whenever I goto
http://www.landrecords.jcc.ky.gov/records/S0Search.html and search (by party name for instance) the links that open up PDF documents only work part of the time.  This only happens whenever I go through my ISA 2004 servers.  If I use our ISA 2000 server or directly connected via DSL they work flawlessly.  The only thing I have noticed about the links is the use of JSP.  Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

This article refers to SP2.  Should I upgrade?

Josh,

The million dollar question :-) ... plonk SP3 on a test machine and see whether it works.. Does the behaviour change if you configure the browser to use HTTP 1.0 thru proxies versus 1.1?

Regards,
Mylo

I tried the HTTP setting and that didn't make a difference.  I have read that there are some issues with SP3 so I think I'm just going to upgrade to SP2 to see if that makes a difference.  Have you tried the site listed in the original message?  Just wondering how it worked through someone else's ISA box?

I have noticed some issues with pdf files when compression is enabled and applied to documents. Try to tone down your compression rules and run some tests. If this fixes your issues you may want to adjust accordingly.

Also... HTTP 1.1 through proxy is recommended but be sure to run the appropriate tests/test groups before applying it to your entire domain. I applied it to our domain and found a couple poorly coded website services our company pays big $$$ to access did not work with it enabled.

If you don't know what they are then the chance of them being modified are a little slight. Anyway, go to Global HTTP Policy Settings and right by Diffserv you should see the Compression link. Here is a really short article that describes it in detail.
