Greetings Everyone-

I have created an Access Rule with the following settings:

Allow All/HTTP-HTTPS-FTP/Internal/Internal/All Authenticated Users

In my web proxy filter for the internal network settings; I have it set to integrated.

Occassionally, some of my users are receiving a prompt for authentication, this happens at least once a day or maybe twice. When they hit the cancel button to bypass this screen, then they are able to browse the web fine.

*Once any user receives this dialog box message and bypasses it by hitting cancel, then everyone else is fine; but it seems that someone will get hit with this message once a day upon random...

Does anyone have any ideas? Could my rules be misconfigured? Can some please help?

Thank You
Yorgy

Hi Yorgi,

Check my blog for an entry regarding multiple authentication prompts, that might help you.

Tom

Clients with Windows 2000 and Windows XP, using web proxy.
Does this answer your question?

Thanks
