I've been reading the post and its unclear if ISA NLB works with VMware. Does it just not work? Does changing  Net.NotifySwitch to 0 to work? Can I run a native windows 2003 NLB on the same ISA servers in multicast mode. All I want is a clustered gateway for my internal clients. Should I just put in multiple gateways on my client machines?

Any help is much appreciated.

No, integrated support for NLB will not work with VMware becasue VMware does not support Unicast mode.

Also, Firewalls should not be run on VMs because virtualization software is NOT security software and the boundaries between the OSs installed on the host may be compromised. Run security software on dedicated host machines only.
