I have a pair of ISA 2K6 Firewalls, configured for NLB publishing a pair of E2K7 CAS boxes. When user's with mailboxes on E2K7 Mailbox Servers login, they have no problems whatsoever, however, when users with mailboxes on E2K3 Back-End Servers login, they get a "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" about 10% of the time. I initially though this was an issue with the CAS servers but if I use them directly I can't reproduce the issue.
Has anyone seen this behaviour before or possibly can provide me with advice on troubleshooting it ?
Admitedly, despite the issue I put the the system live about 24 hours ago and as yet have not had any complaints logged but based on monitoring that's only about 100 users. About three weeks from now that will be 8000, so I need to look for a solution, as I pushed for ISA over Checkpoint or ASA's in our 6500's.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
