Hello,

Since I cannot find that much information about this on the internet, I am waiting with full anticipation for any answers on your part ;-)

So I have following setup. We have a Linux server with dansguardian (http://dansguardian.org/) installed on it, which is able to do web content filtering from internal to external. Also a spamassin is installed on this linux box, filtering traffic from external to internal. This server was used before but was connected directly to the internet:

Internet ----- Linux box ----- client network.

Now in the migration phase, ISA Server is placed between it as an firewall. My idea was to use a DMZ In and DMZ Out segment where the linux server is place in with one leg in each segment. So the current setup looks like this:

Client network ---- ISA _______________Server---- External network
                             |                                           |
                             |                                           |
DMZ In ---  Linux  ---- DMZ Out

Those DMZ segments are defined as Perimeter networks.

So it was no problem redirecting SMTP traffic which came in externally to the DMZ Out segment. However, it is not possible to redirect the http(s) traffic from internal to dmz in. ISA seems to redirect alwasy http traffic from internal to external, even with an explicit rule.

Any ideas how to solve this thing? Sorry if it seems a quite obvious solution, but I am new to ISA server.

Thanks and regards,

Christof
