we are running exchange 2003 sp1, ISA 2006.  My problem is on WM 5.0 phones, activesync will periodically ask for the username/password even though it is stored locally in the phone.  If I cancel and then re-sync, it is fine but for the CEO..well, it is a problem for him.  I've increased the timeout value in EAS listener to 1800 seconds with no success.

Any ideas?

Have you entered the Username/Password/Domain in the Server settings on the phone? have you tried a hard reset?
