Guys,

Since SP2 version, my ISA 2004, now with SP3, suddenly stops accepting L2TP VPN connections with Error 800.

In ISA Log, no denied is logged, but this:

Initiated Connection
LACHOUFFE 10/22/2007 5:41:23 PM

Log type: Firewall service

Status: The operation completed successfully.

Rule: Allow VPN client traffic to ISA Server

Source: External ( 201.51.172.28:1043)

Destination: Local Host ( X.Y.W.Z:1723)

Protocol: PPTP

I've benn through this nightmare over 2 months. The only way to get it works back again is by the reinstallation of ISA 2004 (doesn't matter if I install SP2 or SP3). In couple weeks, with nothing changed on ISA, VPN stops working again, and error 800 comes back.

It's driving me crazy as there is no error logged anywhere!

Does anyone have any clue on how to solve this issue?
