Hello!

I don't believe this should be hard but I havent found how to do it in my searches. I have 2 sites connected via a wan connection, both sites have their own physical internet connection. I have isa 2004 installed on a server at location A, the server has 1 nic and I am using it just for internet access/caching. Everyone at location A is using this ISA server, and everyone at location B is going over the wan and using this ISA server for internet access.

I want to install a 2nd ISA server at location B. I want the ISA servers to both use the same Enterprise policy and be syncd/updated with each other, so from what I have read they have to use the same CSS, and hence both have to be in the same array? If that is correct how do I make the computers at location B use Only the ISA server in location B, and the computers in location A use Only the ISA server at location A? Do I have to restirct traffic somehow or ?

Thank you for any help! I appreciate it!
Ken

Hi Ken,

You are obviously using Active Directory?

If so, set up a seperate GPO for each location which defines the proxy server to be used. Then link the GPO's to the relevent sites.

Of course this will require the sites to be defined in Active Directory.
