Hey guys. was hoping to bounce something off you ...... and get some feedback

I have 2 x ISA 2006 EE servers, 2 geograhical locations (different subnets), acting simply as forward proxy's in a single array.

Problem: I want to be able to direct all users via 1 of the two proxy's and only use the second in case of emergency / fauilre. Easy I hear you say?

I have a few options floating around my head;
1) GPO to point all users to the one server and in a disaster change the GPO. - not really to nice
2) Have two array's- only enable the proxy on 1 and use the other as the "backup route"
3) CARP - I thought this would work, have set the load factor very high on one and very low on the other but clients seem to still use both
4) Create a custom script and specifiy the second as the backup route

What do you think is the best solution? Anything I havent thought of?

I would go for option 2.  If the two servers are in different locations, they will need to be in seperate arrays which rules out CARP.  Option 1 would take too long to affect all your clients in the event server A fails.
