Hi,

I've configured ISA in a back-to-back configuration. I want a remote site, which has a webcam and connects using a site-to-site VPN to our internal ISA server, to access our webserver in the DMZ to place the images of the webcam. However, I'm unable to get it to work. When monitoring I get access denied when I try for example to ping from the telnet session on the webcam to the webserver, although I've created a rule to allow ping from the webcam to the webserver. Strange thing is that when the access denied occurs no rule is mentioned so it looks like a general access denied not using the rules, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Access to the internal webserver from the webcam works fine.

Any suggestions ?

Franc.

Hi Franc,

is there a Network rule allowing that traffic?

Hi Stefan,

that was it. My mistake, sorry. I had created a routing rule instead of a NAT rule from the network to the DMZ. Now it works fine.

Thanks for the tip !

Franc.
