Dear Users,
I have a strange situation.
I have bought a new HP DL380 server, installed with Windows 2003 Server Standard R2, installed Exchange 2003, promoted to domain controller.
Added client, configured and everything works well.

I install ISA 2006 Standard and create an accesso rule for interneal to external, (all protocols), localhost to external and a publishing rule for SMTP (in exchange I bind the SMTP server only to the internal IP). Also a internal to localhost (all protocols)

Everything works well, client, outlook etc. I browse the internet from the server and everything works well.

The strange thing is when I try to browser from the client. Nothing happened I get a DNS error (in 0.5 sec). But I can ping from the client to outside and I can make a trace and works well. When browsing with HTTPS everything works well!

Another strange stuff, when try to connect from external with telnet on the 25, I get the exchange header answering but in 1 sec the connection close. (you can try mail.swissoncology.com).

On the server the IIS6 was moved to another port. And also disabled.

Any ideas?
I tryed also to reinstall but the problems still...
Thank you very much
Regards
Nick

Nick,
Try disabling the Web Proxy filter for the HTTP traffic rule. You can find it...
- Open the rule properties
- Select the Protocols tab
- Select HTTP and click on Edit.
- Under 'Properties' tab, you should see the 'Web Proxy' checkmark.

Also, you can try disabling the 'HTTP Filter' under Configuration -> Add-ins

Thanky it works like a charm :-)

Now the only problem is with SMTP... when I connect from the outside the connection close right now... you can test... telnet on mail.swissoncology.com 25

Thank for all information
