1. This method is static ie I need to manually update the blocklist.
2. I also want my blocklist to include sites such as youtube, liveleak, myspace etc.
Is there a way I could use a dinamic, constantly updated, internet list to exclude such sites? And also if I define a deny rule using this list could I make a new rule allowing sites which are on the list?
Thank you for your suggestion elmajdal, I'll have to look into GFI when I get back to work. Although GFI sports the features I'm after regarding its implementation:
1. Getting this approved might be difficult due to cost/benefits issues (it's a rather small network)
2. I'd like to keep this within the ISA Firewall and keep things as simple as possible.
So do you know of any other way of getting the results i'm looking for?
Please keep in mind that i'm not very familiar with ISA 2006 but i'm learning.
I'm also trying to get some ready made lists for ISA 2006 EE, but http://isaserver.bm/destination_sets.html did not have them. Any idea of how to modify them for 2006 EE or where I could get them?
Thank you for your help elmajdal, I ended up writing a script to import website names from a file. Now there's someone maintaining that file so I don't have to worry about it any more.
