Recently due to a hardware problem I had to switch the internal network card with the external card on my ISA 2006 Server. I transfered the single internal IP from the internal Card to External but because I had more than 64 External IP addresses, I used windows registery to copy and paste the IP's from my external interface to the Internal one. then I switched the cables around and restarted the ISA server.
All my servers are working fine. I have no problems on my publishing rules (HTTP and HTTPS) except for the exchange server rules. I can ping the exchange server from ISA but cannot connect to it in anyway. I have no problem connecting to my Exchangeserver from the internal Network (Using outlook and OWA) but when I try to connect from outside, I get HTTP 500 error saying that Login has failed. I cannot connect using Outlook anywhere and autodiscovery does not work (everything was working fine before this). If I connect to OWA from the ISA computer I get the "Internet explorer cannot display the page" error. (I can connect to a test site I created on exchange using HTTP but not HTTPS)
I tried connecting to the Exchnageserver from ISA using remote desktop but I get the error message that the connection was broken due to network error.
In my event log the error "ISA Server was unable to establish an SSL connection with (SERVER) The network logon failed." is loged
I have exported the certificates from Exchange and reinstalled them on ISA again and deleted my exchange publishing rules and created them again but I have not been able to fix this problem.
Any idea what is causing the problem and how to fix it?
