Hello,

I have to add a cisco router to my existing network.

I'm using ISA2004 in edge mode with 2 nic.
nic1 (WAN)
nic2 (LAN)

The new cisco router (1005) allow a ip range 10.154.12.2/255
Gateway - 10.154.12.1
I have to allow my lan to reach the cisco network for remote connection.

I woul like to know what is the best solution too add this router.
I know that is impossible to have two gateway with ISA 2004.

We really need some help.

Hi, Im not sure if my answer is entirly related anyway. I am using a cisco asa5520 and a isa 2006 on a back to back firewall.
The cisco asa is on the wan(internet) doing Static Pat/nat to the isa 2006 server.
The isa does port forwarding given the destination address.

Between the two firewalls is a dmz, this is where we do ids/ips.

Basicly the asa has no knowledge of the inside network. The isa has a dmz and a internal address.
