Hi Tom,

So I just finished reading part two of the Publishing a Windows Server 2008 SSL VPN Server using ISA 2006 Firewalls document. However when I reached Part 3 I found that Part 3 is the same as Part 2. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Georgi

Nevermind.. I found the article.

I do have a question about the SSTP server though. So in the documentation it doesn't specify if the SSTP server should have two network connections, one going to public and one going to private. Is this what needs to be configured for the SSTP to work? and if so then where does the ISA sit if the SSTP server is already on the public network. What if the network doesn't support Dual homing like this except for an ISA firewall?

Thanks,

Georgi

Hi guys,

Ack! First, I need to find out what happened to part 3. I'll get that fixed ASAP.

Second, it should work with a unihomed VPN server. I know that PPTP and L2TP/IPsec work with a single NIC, but you have to use different options in the wizard in order to make it work that way. I'll see if I can do a blog post on this to show you what do it, it's pretty simple.

HTH,
Tom

Hi Tom,

I have properly configured an SSTP connection through the ISA firewall, thanks to your article and a little configuration changes. I had to make entries in the ISA server host file to point to the SSTP server and the CA server.

Thanks,
