Hello

In ISA 2006, WPAD and Automatic Detect Setting in Microsoft Firewall Client are not working. We have publish the Automatic Discovery in ISA on PORT 80 in Internal network. We have also configured the WPAD Alies in DNS. In Name resolution, it works fine.When we open the http://wpad:port/wpad.dat, it can fine the file but not working.

How to know WPAD is working ??? It append automatically the setting in internet explorer property ???

I highly apreciate your any suggestions.

Thanks for the reply.

I have been gone through that link and checked again  nothing missed.

Is there any problem in IE 6.0 with WPAD. I have checked also with IE 7.0 but not working.

Is it compulsory, CNAME/Alies name should be WPAD or else should we keep i.e any Alies name.
